Objectives:
- Students will appreciate the importance of meeting the planting conditions of HOWL and learn about epigeal and hypogeal germination.
- Students will learn about various seedling problems and the conditions that may cause them. They will learn how to avoid seedling problems by proper watering, checking equipment and temperatures in the greenhouses, and cleaning planting containers.
- Students will learn to utilize cuttings to start new plants.
