Practicum – Session 5

 

Lesson:

  • Native Plants/Attracting Beneficials to the Garden
  • Transplanting Seedlings

Objectives:

  • Students will be introduced to the native plants we are growing and selling at Spring Garden Fair.  Students should be able to explain why native plants are an important component of our yard and garden landscapes and how they help our beneficial insects.
  • Students will learn to transplant seedlings into larger containers.
